Panini provided a limited edition football sticker with a twist recently at Ipswich Town.
Tractor Boys fan, main sponsor and minority shareholder Ed Sheeran was immortalised in sticker form – with the club themselves leaving a special place in the match day programme for fans to stick the sticker, on a poster of Sheeran himself.
One of the world’s best selling music artists, with more than 150 million records sold worldwide, Sheeran is a known Panini football sticker collector, revealing in an interview that he completed the 2014 World Cup album.
The limited edition shiny sticker was available exclusively at Ipswich’s recent game against Nottingham Forest, and it features a player-like profile image of Sheeran representing the Tractor Boys.

Katie Gritt, head of Marketing for Sport at Panini, commented: “We’re delighted to have been able to make Ed’s childhood wish of being a Panini shiny a reality. It’s great for us to be able to collaborate in this way with both Ed and the team at Ipswich Town to bring something really fun to the fans that they can keep.
“We will also be giving out free Premier League Sticker Albums and Premier League stickers to fans at Portman Road before the game so there will be lots for fans to enjoy.”
